Transplant Instructions; Plant at same
soil level or problems with color and growth will occur.
Requrements;
Light; 3500+ foot candles to prevent yellowing.
Media; Peat based mix with PH of 6.0 - 6.5.
Nutrition; Moderate to heavy feeders (250 ppm). Foliar
sprays containing iron and manganese will help to maintain
color.
Water; Do not over water. Let soil dry between waterings.
Growth retardant; None necessary.
Finish Times; when using 1.25" (72 cell) liners
for the following pot sizes...
3" 6-8 weeks
4" 8-10 weeks
6" 12-14 weeks
8" 32 weeks
10" 52 weeks
Common Problems; Copper fungicides and captan should
be avoided or damage will occur.
Disease; Pythium and Rhizoctonia may cause root rot
when kept too wet.
Pests; Spider Mites.
